What is a crochet-along/CAL?

A crochet-along is when a group of crocheters all work on the same project at the same time. There are benchmarks along the way that those participating try to hit at the same time. You get the benefit of the community to ask questions and share in the excitement of the project.

How do I participate in the ongoing CAL?

If you are interested in one of the CALs listed below, click on the banner to be taken to a page with more information. If the CAL is being hosted by WeCrochet, you will stay on our website. If the CAL is being hosted by another designer, you will be taken to their website for more information.

Blossoming Blanket CAL with Hortense of Knitting with Chopsticks

As spring paints the world with its vibrant hues and fresh scents, it's time to get cozy with this Blossoming Blanket crochet along!

Hortense of Knitting with Chopsticks has joined up with ten of your favorite online crochet designers for this special project. Each designer has designed a unique, solid color stripe stitch pattern inspired by blooming flowers and the essence of the season. Using just four colors, you'll create twelve gorgeous stripes to form your own stunning afghan. A new section of the blanket will be released every Tuesday and Friday.
